The bite on Dale Hollow has been pretty stable this week, but I have found it to be more productive between 7pm and 9pm. That has been the times that the bits has been the most aggressive for me and I have had another period between 1am and 2:30 am that has also been pretty good. I am using 1/4 oz Olive and Orange hair jigs with Green Pumpkin trailers and later in the night Black/Red are producing as the moon goes down. The darker bait has been better in the darker part of the night Olive/Orange is better early in the night and while the moon is out. Texas rigged plastics such as baby brushhogs and some worms preferably Strawberry/Red glitter or Plum color worms are working for Smallmouth and also Largemouth bass. Spinner baits have been productive on lay down trees if they are close to 30 foot of water or deeper. Deep Brush in the 28-31 feet range and weed beds included, drop shotting is a very affective method using Robo worms Brown and Brown/Green type colors.
